Based in Brisbane, I founded Impact Business Consulting in 2022 after a career spanning over 20 years across marketing, business operations, and human resources. I bring a deep understanding of what businesses need to thrive, not just from an HR textbook, but from real experience in senior management roles across different industries.

I hold a bachelor's degree in business and two postgraduate degrees in human resource management, leadership and coaching. I'm a Member in Practice with the Australian HR Institute (AHRI), a Business Mentor and regular presenter on HR topics at the Brisbane Business Hub. What drives me

I started Impact Business Consulting because I wanted purpose-driven work, something that made a real difference to the people and businesses I worked with. After years in senior management roles, I knew the impact that good people management could have on a business, and I wanted to bring that directly to business owners and people managers who needed it most.

My purpose is simple: to help businesses and their people thrive. I do that through practical HR advice, hands‑on compliance support, leadership coaching, and training that gives managers the confidence to lead well. Everything centres on one goal, creating workplaces where both the business and its people can do their best work.

Every engagement is personal. You deal with me directly, every time, not a junior, not an account manager. I take the time to understand your business, your people, and the specific challenges you're facing before I recommend anything.

What sets me apart is that I understand business operations, not just HR. Having worked across marketing, general management, business operations, and human resources, I see people issues through a different lens, one that considers the commercial realities of running a business alongside the people implications. That means my advice is practical, balanced, and grounded in what actually works in the real world, not just what a HR textbook says.

It's also important to be transparent about what I am and what I'm not. I am not a workplace lawyer and I don't provide legal advice. What I do provide is experienced HR guidance grounded in the Fair Work Act and industry best practice, helping you make informed decisions and manage people matters with confidence.
